Here’s the thing. Life is full-on right now – juggling toddlers, a full-time job, and restarting Bear&Wolf (what was I thinking?!). But even in the chaos, there’s one idea I’ve been itching to share with you all.
I’ve always wanted Bear&Wolf to be something that goes deeper, and lately, I’ve been working on an idea that I think does just that.
Bear&Wolf Content Expeditions.
The idea is simple: spend a weekend out in the wild with a small group of like-minded people, doing what we love—hiking, camping, sitting around a fire, and capturing some of the magic along the way.
This isn’t about big, flashy productions. It’s about real moments. Whether you’re snapping photos, testing out gear, or just along for the adventure, these trips are for anyone who shares that love for being outside and finding peace in the wild.
What to Expect (No Fluff, I Promise)
Here’s what I’m thinking so far:
Proper Adventures: Whether it’s hiking to a bothy, camping under the stars, or staying somewhere rustic, it’ll be a weekend to remember.
No Pressure: You don’t need to be an expert anything. Bring your camera, your curiosity, or just your boots.
The People: These trips are open to anyone who shares a love for the outdoors, whether you’re into photography, just fancy an escape, or want to help showcase Bear&Wolf gear (models get to keep the items they wear, by the way).
Bear&Wolf Vibes: We’ll capture content that feels as real as it gets—no fake smiles or perfect setups, just us, the outdoors, and what happens when the two collide.
Leave No Trace: This is a big one. We’ll make sure everything we do respects the landscapes we’re lucky enough to explore.
Why I’m Excited About This
Bear&Wolf has always been about more than products. It’s about creating something people want to be part of—a brand that is a community, not a corporation. These expeditions are a way to bring that to life.
For me personally, this is a chance to combine a few things I love: being outdoors, photography, and building something meaningful. Life is busy, and sometimes it feels like I’m juggling a bit too much. But ideas like this remind me why I’m doing it.
Part of this is about content—because as much as I’d love to spend every weekend exploring for fun, I’ve got a brand to build. These expeditions will be a chance to capture authentic, rugged moments that show what Bear&Wolf is all about. But it’s also about people. Real people.
Why Join a Bear&Wolf Expedition?
Joining us is about more than just a weekend outdoors. It’s a chance to work alongside me—a commercial and military photographer with 10 years of experience—as well as guest photographers from a mix of industries like adventure, lifestyle, and product photography.
Anyone we ask to model to help showcase Bear&Wolf gear will get to keep the items they wear as a thank-you for being part of the journey. But it’s not just about the content. These trips are a chance to connect with other outdoor enthusiasts, aspiring creators, and even influencers, building relationships that could lead to future collaborations or simply a good group of people to share the adventure with. It’s all about real experiences, new connections, and leaving with something memorable.
What’s Next?
Right now, this idea is still taking shape. I’m working on a dedicated page for the website where you’ll be able to find all the details, including how to join an expedition. In the meantime, I’ll keep sharing updates on our social pages, so stay tuned.
Thanks for being here, for supporting Bear&Wolf, and for helping shape where we go next. I can’t wait to get this rolling and see what we can create together.
Here’s to the journey,
Jake - Founder, The Bear&Wolf Co.
