Made in Britain. Knitted from 100% Merino Wool. Built Proper.
We spent months searching for a wool that felt just right, warm, breathable, and soft enough to wear over a tee. The result is The Moorland Jumper, a midweight Merino layer that does the job and does it well.
Knitted in the UK using a seamless, zero-waste construction, it's designed to pair perfectly with our Overshirts or wear comfortably on it's own. The fit is classic, the finish is clean, and the wool does what wool's meant to do.
This isn't a trend piece. It's a proper wool jumper made to last for many seasons.
A PROPER WOOL JUMPER
It's surprisingly hard to find a proper wool jumper these days. Not a polyester blend, but real wool, made well and built to last.
I've got no interest in plastic jumpers manufactured overseas for nothing, that need washing every time you wear them.
A proper wool jumper is naturally odour resistant, insulating, breathable, and made to be lived in. You don't need five of them, just one good one. Our one.
↟ British Made: Knitted here in the UK by one of the last remaining specialist knitwear makers still doing things properly.
↟ 100% Merino Wool: Naturally soft, breathable, and odour resistant. Built to insulate without itching, even worn over a tee.
↟ Seam-Free Construction: Knitted in one piece, not cut and sewn. Meaning fewer weak points and a better fit across the shoulders and arms.
↟ Pair it Properly: Designed to layer perfectly under our Cairn Overshirt. It's heavy enough to keep you warm, trim enough not to bulk out your overshirt.
↟ Unisex Fit: This is a classic straight cut, not boxy or tight. Just a good honest shape that suits most body types.
↟ True to Size: Order your usual size for a relaxed but flattering fit. Size up if you like a looser, oversized look.
↟ Size Chart: Check our size guide or just drop us a message and we’ll point you right.
Fast fashion wants you to overwash cheap gear that barely lasts a season. This isn't that. Proper wool doesn't need washing as often, it's naturally breathable, odour resistant, and built to last. With the right care, it'll serve you for years:
↟ Cool hand wash only: Use lukewarm water and a mild wool detergent.
↟ Dry flat: Gently squeeze out excess water, never wring!
↟ Reshape while damp: Lay flat and reshape to original form.
↟ Store folded, not hung: Hanging can stretch the knit over time.
↟ Air dry: Never on a radiator or tumble dryer.
