15oz. British made.

The outer is 15oz waxed cotton from Halley Stevensons in Dundee. It's made in the UK, and we designed it here in Scotland for the weather we actually get.

A lot of what went into it came from Cairn Overshirt owners after living in theirs.

We wanted something heavier. Something with a bit more about it.
This is where we ended up.

Batch No.001

Batch No.001 will be 100 Stac Jackets. No more, no less.

Those first 100 Stac's get a Batch No.001 print in the lining, exactly the same as we did with the first 100 Cairns.
A Stac jacket, with proof you got here first.

After the first 100, we stop printing it.

Not just "another jacket"

The Stac is THE jacket. Able to resist the harshest conditions, and outlast everything you have in your wardrobe.

DON'T JUST TAKE IT FROM US

The Cairn Overshirt was the piece that got Bear&Wolf moving.

Batch No.001 was sold on pre-order, made, shipped and worn. The people who bought them have now had plenty of time to tell us what they think.

Which is useful, because we asked them.

Built for Scotland. Built to last.

the pre-order bit

Pre-orders open on 7 September at 07:00.

Signing up to The Wolf Pack is the best way to stay in the loop. You'll see what's happening as we go rather than placing an order and hearing nothing until a box turns up.

Why Pre-Order?

Making it properly in the UK means it's paid for before it's made. That's just how it works.

Pre-orders get first dibs, the Batch "No.001" print on the inside. Made in the UK, in this exact workshop.

Delivery of the stac

For delivery, we're currently saying before Christmas.

We're pretty sure it'll be sooner.
We're giving ourselves some room because we'd rather give you a safe date now and beat it.

When do Stac pre-orders open?

7 September 2026 at 07:00
There are 100 jackets in Batch 01.
Wolf Pack members get it 24 Hours early.

What's different about Batch No.001?

Every one of the first 100 Stacs will have an exclusive Batch No.001 print on the inside.
We did the same with Batch 01 of the Cairn.

When will my Stac arrive?

We're provisionally saying before Christmas.
We think it'll be sooner, but that's the safe expectation we're giving for now.
We'll keep everyone who orders updated while the jackets are being made.

Have you done this before?

Yes.
We launched Batch No.001 of the Cairn on pre-order too. The run was made and shipped, and we've used the same idea for the first Stacs.

Where is the Stac made?

The Stac is made in the UK.

Bear&Wolf is a Scottish outdoor brand and the jacket was designed for here as well.

What cloth does it use?

15oz waxed cotton from Halley Stevensons in Dundee.

Is this the new Cairn?

No.

They're different garments entirely. The Stac is the heavier one.
We learned plenty from making the Cairn though, and some of that made its way into the Stac.

What sizes will be available?

M - 3XL
This'll expand each way in future batches, we have to keep the first batch lean.

How much will it cost?

For Pre-Orders, the Stac will cost £400.
Once Pre-Orders finish, the retail price will be £450.

Can I return or cancel a pre-order?

Yes. You can cancel your pre-order, and our usual returns policy still applies once it arrives.

For exchanges, there is one thing to bear in mind. Batch No.001 is 100 jackets. That’s it. If the whole batch sells out, we can’t guarantee we’ll have another Batch No.001 Stac available in the size you need.

We’ll always do what we can.
